Since I don't want to start my course completely clueless about 3D modelling I thought I'd start to learn the same way I taught myself Photoshop, by completing tutorials. Personally I'd love to start creating characters and weapons but I think those can be saved until I actually know what I'm doing.
The Final Product After rendering the first model I decided to play around with the colours and create a design based on the Premier Ball design by Pokémon artist Sugimori, after that I did a bit of post processing with the colours and depth of field using Adobe Photoshop. Finally I decided to take advantage of my Photoshop skills further and superimposed the render into a field of grass. It wasn't until after I had created the final design that I realised the lighting I had used in the original render was indoor lighting, so I modified this using Photoshop's clone stamp and dodge tools.
